ACCREDITATION FOR CONTEMPORARY DESIGN AND PLANNING EDUCATION

GENERAL PRINCIPLES ON FEES

​

The following persons and boards are paid a fee to be accepted by the Board of Directors and approved by the Advisory Board within the framework of the fee proposals to be determined by the OYK for the accreditation services and activities they perform.

  • OIC members,

  • AYK members,

  • Members of the Accreditation Advisory Board

  • Other boards, commissions, and working groups appointed by the AYK,

  • Members of the evaluation and peer evaluation teams are involved in the evaluation processes.

In addition, the program applying for accreditation or the higher education institution to which the program is affiliated is obliged to meet all the travel, daily wages, and accommodation needs of the evaluators who will visit the field in appropriate ways.

Applications for programs that do not pay the accreditation fees will not be accepted or evaluated.

 

DETERMINATION OF FEES

Fees for accreditation are determined by the OYK, shared with the AYK and the Advisory Board, and submitted for the approval of the Design and Planning Association Board of Directors and Advisory Board, as specified in the Regulation. Fees approved by the Management and Advisory Board are announced on the website.

Every year, in December at the latest, accreditation fees are updated in accordance with the Regulation and the method specified in this directive and announced on the website in January. Annual increases in accreditation fees cannot exceed the previous year's inflation rate. Fees may be reduced depending on needs and sectoral and national requirements.

 

PAYMENT OF FEES

Fees for accreditation must be paid on time and in full in accordance with the accreditation conditions and calendar of that year announced on the OYK/AYK website by the planning and design of training programs.

Failure to make timely payments for accreditation may result in a decision to suspend or reject accreditation. Accreditation fees are paid in accordance with YÖKAK principles.

FEES FOR THE YEAR 2023

​

Accreditation Fees and Payment Schedule of Institutions in Turkey
 

The "General Evaluation" accreditation fee and payment schedule for 2023-2024 are in the table below. Fees for other types of evaluation will be published during the year.

(1) Evaluation of programs to be evaluated for the first time or programs with accreditation every five years
Accreditation fees are to be paid by the programs whose General Evaluation will be made in the 2023 period;

 

After the first application of 32.000 TL + VAT is reviewed and accepted and the necessary documents are submitted to the program,

In April 2023 (August 2023 for the second application period),

​

16.000 TL+VAT After the examination of the Self-Evaluation Report, before the site visit,

In October 2023 (March 2024 for the second application period),

 

After the evaluation visit, the remainder (32,000 TL+VAT) will be charged (2). 

​

(2) The final payment of the program for which the general evaluation has been made will be collected after the documents are sent to the institution by the evaluation team.

In April 2023 (August 2023 for the second application period),

30.000 TL+VAT After the examination of the Self-Evaluation Report, before the site visit,

In October 2023 (March 2024 for the second application period),

 

After the evaluation visit, the rest (45,000 TL+VAT) will be charged (2). 

​

(2) The final payment of the program for which the general evaluation has been made will be collected after the documents are sent to the institution by the evaluation team.
